WARREN FOEGELE - Left Winger - 23 - $.746MM Cap Hit - RFA in 2020-2021
LAST UPDATED 7/25/19
Warren Foegele had a decent, if inconsistent rookie season. He's proven himself to be a capable offensive contributor at lower levels, producing at a point-per-game rate in the OHL and scoring 28 goals in his lone season for AHL Charlotte. He's a natural power forward, and with above-average size and shooting abilities, that seems to be the role Foegele will settle into at the NHL level. He's a smart player, and puts himself in the right places on offense, with a willingness to stick himself in front of the net and dig for less flashy goals. His skating is very strong, but he needs to use his speed and size more effectively and consistently to regularly produce points against better competition at the NHL level. His ceiling is to become something like what Vegas has in Alex Tuch, as a skilled and physical second line power forward, capable of scoring 30 goals and potting in an extra 20 assists or so.
