TYLER PITLICK - Center - 27 - $1.00MM Cap Hit - UFA in 2020-2021
LAST UPDATED 8/17/19
After playing in 80 games and posting reasonable point production in 2017-18, and finally breaking into the league as a regular as a 26 year old former #31 overall pick, Tyler Pitlick had a disappointing season, only posting 12 points and only getting into 47 games. Now, Pitlick hasn't changed much as a player. He's got decent size and a good motor, but lacks high-end offensive tools and doesn't have the defensive positioning or awareness to be a shutdown winger. He provides energy, relentlessness, and good work ethic to the bottom half of a lineup. He's not a special player, and won't move the needle too much for a team, but for an affordable cap hit he's a decent bottom-6 energy guy who can be good depth for a contending team.
