A product of the Bruins 2015 offseason trading spree, Don Sweeney acquired Kuraly as part of a package from the Sharks in exchange for goaltender Martin Jones. A tough, faceoff winning fourth line center, Kuraly has proven time and time again to be an effective penalty killer for the Bruins while showing a knack for scoring timely goals (such as his OT goal in the 2017 playoffs and goal in the 2019 Winter Classic). While he’ll never be a game changing talent, Kuraly is a proven leader and is a great fit as a Greg Campbell-esque bottom-6 forward for the B’s.
