A veteran since the 20th century, Roberto Luongo has emerged as one of the game's all-time great workhorses in net. Since he started a whopping 73 games for Vancouver in 2007-2008, Luongo has been among the game's most reliable goaltenders. Typically good for ~2.50 GAA and a ~.917 sv%, Luongo has been remarkably consistent throughout his career. Although he is without a Stanley Cup win, he is the winningest goaltender for two franchises and is a beloved figure in two cities. While he is quite injury-prone at this point in his career, and is likely more of a 1B option at this point than a full-time starter, Luongo is still valuable on a game-to-game basis and can provide incredibly mentorship value to young goaltenders. While his time as an NHL-er is nearly up, Luongo can still provide great value to any NHL franchise as a skilled netminder and an incredible leader.
