NOEL ACCIARI - Center - 27 - $1.6MM Cap Hit - UFA in 2022-2023
LAST UPDATED 1/17/19
Acciari signed with Boston after a 3-year tenure (and an NCAA championship in 2015) at Providence College on June 8th, 2015 as an undrafted free agent. Initially, this signing seemed to be more for filling out AHL depth, but Acciari surprisingly flew through the Bruins minor league system, debuting late in the 2015-2016 season, less than a year after he was signed out of college. Never the most skilled player on the ice, Acciari has gained tons of respect from teammates and fans alike for his stingy defensive play, hustle, and team-first attitude. While Acciari hit the double-digit goal mark in his first full season with the B’s (2017-2018), his lack of polished offence limits him to the role of a quality fourth line center.
