A star at Notre Dame who compares stylistically to two-way centers like Tyler Bozak. He doesn't possess elite offensive tools, but he's a hard worker with strong defensive play. He's willing to go to the tough areas of the ice, and he has produced decently in his rookie AHL season as a result. But, at 22, he'll need to make the NHL sooner rather than later to really make an impact. His ceiling is probably as a 3C, but if he can improve his all-around game he should be able to crack the Montreal lineup soon.
