Schlemko is a pretty standard, unimpressive, but at least consistent bottom pairing player. He's a fine skater, he's fine defensively, and he's mediocre offensively. He's not slow, but he doesn't have exceptional burst or lateral quickness, either. He's a two-way defensive plug for your bottom pairing, and players like him definitely still have a role in the NHL. At a reasonable price, Schlemko is a very solid #5/6.
