Krygier, son of NHL veteran Todd Krygier, played a physical, enforcer-style game during his 105 game (incl. playoffs) USHL career for the Lincoln Stars. He only scored 8 points, but racked up over 100 penalty minutes in his second season. Given his struggles at Michigan State, it looks like Krygier simply doesn't have the offensive ability to advance far as a prospect. His physicality might carry him a bit, but his skating, offensive instincts, hands, etc. just are not at a high enough level for him to have an NHL future.
