Lindgren is a goalie who uses his superb reflexes and instincts to kill chances and save goals. He has performed solidly in his limited NHL exposure, and he has been able to be a steady presence for AHL Laval, despite having downright terrible defensive support on those teams. Given his aggressive style, Lindgren also sometimes overcommits to a certain save, as well as sometimes moving too quickly to kill a chance, leading to a goal. This downside to his play-style most likely means his upside is as a solid backup, but obviously, he's a goalie, so you really never know.
