Stapley is a skilled player who seemed out of place in a Jr. A league such as the BCHL. He's a shifty, hard-working player, with good hands. He's produced very well to start his first season in the NCAA, and if his production continues, he could turn out to be a steal in the 7th round. But, given his past history and inability to move past the BCHL, he's still a long shot from being an impact NHL player.
