After his up-and-down first NHL season in 2016-17, Beauvillier has still struggled to find a consistent footing the NHL, but he has had some brilliant flashes. On a line with Mathew Barzal, Beauvillier showed some goal-scoring potential, sniping 21 goals. He is currently on pace to exceed that in 2018-19, and given his speed, shot, and offensive instincts, a future as a valuable second line goal scorer is definitely possible.
