Ovechkin still is a first line winger because of his excellent offensive instincts and shot. He's aged like fine wine, and has shown no signs of slowing down just yet. A UFA in the 2021 offseason, Ovechkin definitely will return to Washington, but it’s fair to wonder whether his game will decline further as he turns 34 this season.
