ADAM HENRIQUE - Center - 29 - $5.82MM Cap Hit - UFA in 2024-2025
LAST UPDATED 7/8/19
If there's one thing that can be said about Adam Henrique, it's that he's been remarkably consistent. Since 2013-14, Henrique has posted between 40 and 50 points in every NHL season, and maintained an incredibly high shooting percentage while doing so. He's a center/winger, and plays his best hockey at the wing, but is more defensively valuable as a center. He's a decent shooter and has the intelligence to make plays, but his skating keeps him from being able to create enough time and space to be an elite playmaker. He's got leadership skills and by all accounts is a fantastic teammate, so that boosts his value, but isolated impact metrics are significantly lower on his defensive abilities than his consensus defensive reputation would suggest. Given all that information, Henrique is a solid complementary 2nd line winger, with the ability to be a good 3C or a low-end 2C.
